Dominique Jernigan

Dominique was born in Kansas City, Missouri and has traveled extensively expanding her sewing areas of expertise. Dominique grew up sewing and then spent 5 years working at a consistently ranked top alteration shop in KC. There she focused on pants and suiting, perfecting her skills under the guidance of owner Erik Blond. Dominique then traveled to Alaska and focused on repairing fishing nets and outdoor gear. To soften this hard skill set, Dominique relocated to Louisiana and spent two years on bridal alterations deconstructing gowns for Southern belles. Dominique has spent years as a commercial tailor adapting her wide range of alteration techniques to the fast paced world of on-set tailoring.
